I meant "if _you_ perceive it as fast enough, it's good enough for me.
But I had assumed it would be too slow."

Make sure that there are install and uninstall functions so that users
can turn it on and off for themselves.

Beyond that we could do the following.

1. Add menu item to toggle (in the Edit | Mule menu).
2. Customizable size threshold (the way fontlock does).

For now those can just go in the TODO file.
