I don't like the current level of Unicode Hrvoje> support in Mule, Latin-unity is independent of Unicode. It will take advantage of Unicode support if you have it, and the tables are generated by using Unicode support. But you don't need it (you can even build without it, I supply a prebuilt char-table, but you'd probably need to hack the Makefile). Oh, and there's a cool new interface in there, too---if you enter a charset where a coding system is expected, it will try to guess the coding system, and vice versa. I need to abstract that and build up the tables of guesses, but the silly non-standard naming has annoyed me for a long time. Unfortunately, I can't give you a hint on _how_ Mule got itself confused. It's such a tarpit.... -- Institute of Policy and Planning Sciences http://turnbull.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp University of Tsukuba Tennodai 1-1-1 Tsukuba 305-8573 JAPAN Don't ask how you can "do" free software business; ask what your business can "do for" free software.
