Hi - please help,

This message appears in the minibuffer when I double click a .c file in MS 
Windows 2000:

(1) (warning/warning) Autoload error in: c:\Program 
Files\XEmacs\xemacs-packages\XEmacs-21.4.13\lisp\auto-autoloads:
	Already loaded

Xemacs still functions, but none of my settings in init.el and .emacs are read.

The message doesn't appear if I start Xemacs without a file to edit, but it 
still doesn't read the init files.

I cannot uninstall (and reinstall) Xemacs (in the conventional way) because 
it does not appear as an application in Control Panel->Add / Remove 
Programs, and I cannot install over the current version because the GNU 
installer sees that Xemacs is already installed and decides that there is 
nothing to install, even if I move the Xemacs directory away from Program 
files.

So I'm stuck - please help - thanks.
