Hi Yonghao,

you need to install an ispell program.

Cygwin aspell works fine for me in native Windows 2000 XEmacs.

Make sure to
(setq ispell-program-name "aspell")

aspell --version
returns:
@(#) International Ispell Version 3.1.20 (but really Aspell 0.50.3)
