Hi Stefan, what's the file encoding used?

I use iso-acc to enter German umlauts in my emöls.

I use the customize equivalent of
(setq mail-setup-hook '(iso-accents-mode))
and
(setq message-setup-hook '(iso-accents-mode bbdb-insinuate-sendmail bbdb-define-all-aliases))
