Re: Can't write to any WinXP directories

Ben,

I used the ATTRIB command under command prompt for my Desktop directory, 
and this solved my problem! i.e. I can write to the directory hereafter

But it is still weird: when I open the property window of the Desktop 
folder under window explorer, the folder is still marked "read-only"

WinXP's problem...
