Yes. You were right. I commented out the gnuserv-start for windows and winclient still works nicely. VERY NICE! AFAIK, no. Winclient.exe uses native Windows APIs to talk directly to a running xemacs.exe process. Thus there is no need to load a separate gnuserv process. If xemacs.exe is not running, winclient will cause it to launch automatically. Basically, if you want to use winclient, just substitute "winclient.exe" for "xemacs.exe" everywhere. You get what you want. Minus any gnuclient features that winclient might not yet support. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
