Today I was using AUC-TeX mode for the first time in a long time, and
XEmacs was locking up on me about every 5 minutes. The symptoms are
similar to what I described above.

What is the recommended way of dealing with this? Does Native XEmacs
suffer the same problem? Does using Cygwin XEmacs under X as opposed to
MSW fix the problem?
