There have been 14 additional releases of XEmacs since 4/2001....

Please submit a bug report using M-x report-xemacs-bug RET from _both_
platforms.  This will provide necessary information not only about
XEmacs itself, but the versions of Lisp packages that you are using.

Also "crappy" is not a very exact description of what you are seeing.
Please copy and paste what you are seeing into the bug report, and
label the "nice" and the "crappy" examples (probably it will be
obvious, but it isn't always).
