Bangalore Torpedo

Playing the Fortress Budapest Campaign against my brother. We came across
something neither of us had encountered in 30+ years (combined) of ASL.

Does a DC used as a "bangalore torpedo" against wire affect infantry in the
hex ? 

A unit has moved onto the wire (but not beneath), another squad decides to
use a DC as a bangalore torpedo against the same wire. What happens to the
squad on the wire ? I would think it is affected, but I cant find anything
in the rules about it. 

Anyone ?
