ASL INTENSIVE FIRE 2012 Update

Hi Everyone,

	It's only 6 weeks until INTENSIVE FIRE 2012, so if you're planning
on coming now is the time to start making your plans. The tournament takes
place over the weekend of Wed 24 - Sun 28 October at the Kiwi Hotel in
Bournemouth. Entry is just £10 if you register before Monday 15 October, and
£15 after that. More details of the tournament can be found at
http://www.vftt.co.uk/ifdetails.asp.

	The scenarios for the weekend are as follows (ROAR ratings in
brackets):

	Saturday AM  TURNING POINT STALINGRAD (9.30am - 3pm) 5½ hours
		RB3 Bread Factory #2 * (Russian 117, German 141)
		DASL 1 Guryev's HQ ** (Russian 88, 75 German)
		A70 Wintergewitter (Russian 120, German 136)
		* Copies of the map section for RB3 Bread Factory #2 will be
available so players do not need to bring their mapsheets.
		** Reduced-size copies of the Deluxe mapboards for DASL 1
Guryev's HQ will be available so players do not need to bring their
mapboards.

	Saturday PM  THE WAR IN EUROPE (4pm - Midnight) 8 hours
		KE20 The Steel-Eyed Boys (British 12, German 13)
		SP202 Fiery Finale (Russian 18, German 18)
		AP78 Crossfire (American 15, German 15)
		Players may alternatively choose any scenario they wish to
play if they do not want to play any of the scenarios on offer for this
round instead.

	Sunday AM  EARLY WAR (9.30am - 2pm) 4½ hours
		OA29 The Amy H (British 16, German 15)
		O1 Go Big or Go Home (French 16, German 13)
		ESG086 BB Gun at the Baby Parade (Polish 7, German 10)


	There will also be a mini-tournament on Friday:

	Jim Mcleod Memorial
		Rd 1 09:30-15:00 - MLR11 Only The Beginning
		Rd 2 16:00-19:30 - MLR01 Hana-Saku
		Rd 3 20:00-00:00 - MLR04 Sneek Attack
	The winner will receive a copy of the Elite Canadians scenario pack
which these are taken from.
