Also, I'm saving my ASL pennies (oops, nickels now) so I can attend the

I won't be ordering RS for the very simple reason that I already have
everything that's in it, and it all still works. None of my CoB and GH stuff
is in any real need of an upgrade.

And do you know what? I'm perfectly OK with that, because RS isn't for me.
It's for the guys coming into ASL who haven't been able to get CoB and GH
for nearly a decade.

I don't understand this seeming compulsion to buy every single product MMP
puts out even when you clearly don't need it. Are you also going to buy 2nd
Ed. YANKS when it comes available? What on earth for?

Finally, wrt "merchandising techniques", MMP could have put something
entirely new in RS that was only available by buying RS. They didn't.
Frankly, if that's really how you think they operate, I think they're doing
a pretty crappy job of it.

Selling "scaled-down" versions of a HASL isn't likely to happen. It's too
big of a headache for the office  for too small a return to have them deal
with multiple versions. We also price and order components with a specific
number of units in mind. Mixing and matching different quantities of
components makes that impractical.
