Below are the 4 Scenarios we have in 
playtest: 
  
Flanking 
Hatten: The latest quick play, tournament style offering  
from Steve 
Johns see a German Kampfgruppe of 6 x PzIVJ tanks  
along with a 
platoon of infantry in halftracks attacking a small  
American 
combined arms for on boards 62 & 63 in this 1945  
encounter. 
The German looks to cause CVPs and 
exit. 
  
And So it Begins: Another great looking 
Japanese-Chinese
scenarios from Robert Hammond sees hostilities boiling over 
in 
1928 in the city of Tsinan as the Chinese are trying to evacuate 
civilians on Board u. More than a company of infantry apiece 
make for 
instant action in this exciting city fight. Pregame rubble 
and flame rolls 
add to the carnage.  
  
Fontenay by Day: Here we finally have a 
chance to publish 
scenario 1 of 2 set in June '44 at Fontenay-le-Pisnel in 
Normandy. 
Chuck Hammond (no relation to Robert) has a reinforced company 
of British Elite Rifle Squads, supported by a Churchill and 2 Sherman 
Tanks, attacking a company of SS on Boards 10, 19 & 44. The 
German
gets a Panther to raise Havoc for a couple turns before Air Support 
arrives.
OBA on both sides rounds out a brutal fight for Board 10 buildings.  
  
The Streets of Rostov: Mr Stalingrad 
himself, Tom Morin, has a new, 
large city fight, this one set in Rostov in 
1942. Boards 1, 8, and 22 have 
Railroad overlays giving a new feel to those 
venerable boards as the SS
try to punch through a mix of NKVD, line and 
conscript troops to dominate 
the railway hexes. With 37 squads and 5 guns on 
the Soviet side and 17 
squads and 14 AFVs for the SS and Panzer troops, 
there is a lot of firepower 
for both sides and plenty of options on offense 
and defense.  
  
We'll also see an article by Kedge on Ammo 
and Fuel Shortages and Carl 
will have more of his tactical 
tips.
Here are the 4 scenarios we have in Current Issue #37:

Stossgruppe 
Schlicter: Nice tourney sized offering from Bruce Childs finds 
us in Norway 
1940 as the German force is trying to remove a roadblock, cause
casualties 
and exit. Quick playing with variable game length. Boards 34 & 
37.

Anchoring the Line: The latest RB action from Any Hershey see the 
Germans
on defense on New Years Eve 1942 in the east-central part of the 
Barricades.
Reinforced infantry companies on both sides as the Russians try 
to take back
buildings from the German defenders. Variable VPs for buildings 
in the German
set up area lead to a guessing game on what they are worth. 
Nice SSRs spice
things up.

LZ S: Mike Puccio's latest look at the 
Glider attacks into Germany in March '45.
Reinforced company of glider troops 
with plenty of SWs and some ordnance land
around and possibly amidst German 
artillery positions on Boards 1a, 43 & 44.
Taking out the guns is the 
goal. Very cool scenario with instant action as the
gliders try to land 
amongst AA fire.

Mawchi Road: A big, large, nasty PTO fight from Joe 
Gochinski sees Brits of
the Royal Berkshire Regiment trying to clear the 
Mawchi Road at Toungoo, Burma.
Both sides have 3 company sized infantry units 
that are augmented from a pool
of Divisional assets including 
SMCs/SWs/Ordnance for the IJA and a fleet of
various armed carriers for the 
British. Although a Big Scenario on Boards 50, 63 & q,
it plays fairly 
short due to only being 6.5 turns long and with all that firepower units
tend 
to disappear quickly as well. Killer scenario in every way.

we have an article on Festung Budapest by Kedge and Carl continues 
his Tactical 
Tips, this time turning his attention to AFVs. We also have are usual 
local tourney 
and New England regional ASL news.
