True enough, but the rebuild comes with 4 caps that go on the HV circuit.

That's the way I like to think of it too :)

I also wouldn't work on HV on any random TV set that I'm repairing, without
a quick discharge (alligators + 1 meg resistor, or, when I'm lazy, just
alligator clips ;) ). But I know (and know why) our vector monitors aren't
the lethal weapons that some people think they are :)
