VECTOR: WG6100 Q604/Q704 Upgrades

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade Q604/Q704 transistors on my deflection board from
MPSU07-> NTE49. NTE49s have been discontinued, and I am looking for a
cross-reference on a modern replacement. Does anyone know of one that is
readily available from an online source?

I've done some research, and from what I've gleaned I can replace this
particular transistor with a generic NPN 202 package as long as the voltage
rating is higher then the one it's replacing and the current gain is the
same.

Any assistance on either of these issues would be appreciated.
