I know that one of the things we used to do all the time on the Apple II was self-modifying code, which seems like it would cause problems in a recompiled environment. This may be less prevalent in the arcade world (executing directly from ROM) - do many games copy themselves into RAM and do self-modification for speed? -atw -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Neil Bradley Sent: Saturday, October 16, 2004 11:02 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: VECTOR: 6502 Recompiled > Just curious, what product did you release (provided it was game > related)? I didn't release a product - I did work on a product that someone else released, and unfortunately I'm under NDA and can't mention what it is, its source, or anything about it. -->Neil ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- Neil Bradley "The true axis of evil in America is the brilliance of Synthcom Systems, Inc. our marketing combined with the stupidity of our people.." - Bill Maher --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** Unsubscribe, subscribe, or view the archives at http://www.vectorlist.org ** Please direct other questions, comments, or problems to [email protected]
