VECTOR: Cinematronics on a oscilloscope

Months ago I used a cinematronics monitor pcb to generate XY signals and
then show the image on a oscilloscope  but the image I see is not so clear.
I used a Star Castle PCB and I see only points rotate in the centre of the
screen (start and end vector points I suppose).Did someone already make
something sililar? 
Any suggestion?
