Exposed card prior to auction

South dropped a card (King of Diamonds) onto the table (seen by partner) before the auction started. I made it UI (Law 16B). That seems right -- her partner had apparently taken her hand from the board already. I assume there is something else I should have done if partner had not taken her hand from the board, but I don't think I could have found it before the game ended.

Off-hand, shouldn't L16A(d) probably be expanded to exclude information the player gains after partner takes his/her hand from the board? Just as a general principle.

And of course, we can wonder about the intention of L24; it makes more sense with "auction period" instead of auction, though I did not mind being diverted to L16.
