i do agree about the idea of a portal for indie games though - this is 
what i was trying to do with a publishing arm of our company (basically 
a front end for a plimus storefront), but being a 2 person company, we 
had to prioritize - and we chose to focus on our game engine (seeing as 
it's our main revenue source at this point).

but i'd definitely say that the idea is a valid one judging from the 
responses we got when asking around about the feasibility of the project.

maybe once the E3 madness dies down around here i'll have a spare moment 
to finish up the portal idea i was workin on - we have the domain for 
the concept (www.gamingzone.ca) - just have to clone myself a few times 
so i can finish getting the games online
