I don't know how easy it is to do this from c++ - however one of the best
things I have learned over the last few years is that not everything needs
to be "elegant". If nslookup works - I sugest you just use it. It may feel
dirty, but you will get more work done with this attitude!
I have wasted a lot of time in the past trying to make things "perfect",
when often a simple solution will do just as well.
It is important to remark that the code must still be easily maintainable
however.
