Restarting game exe

I thought this would be a really easy thing to do, but for some reason I
can't seem to trip on the right functions. I want to give an option to
restart the game 'from the top' to re-initialize resolution, graphics etc,
so I thought I would just exit the app and re-launch the EXE. But I can't
really see what would be the best way to do this.

Is there something that I'm missing as far as an 'exit and then start up
another exe' command, or what would be the best way to do this without
messing things up?
