Bill, we'll have to disagree on whether pumping a few bullets into an innocent man on the ground constitutes due process.

Now, would you please find for me my suggestion about disarming the police? I keep looking and looking, but I can't find it. All I find is my commentary on the far-right's control of the discourse, sort of like responding to what one wishes was written, rather than what was actually written. Sound familiar?

cheers,
Clark

Spontaneous street executions? Oh you've GOT to be kidding me. Now you
have these cops - caught in a bad situation with a potential homicide
bomber - as nothing more than assassins?

There was clear probable cause from what I have read. It was a tragic
event, to be sure, but I don't recall seeing any news articles of
British police just walking around killing anything that moved.

Perhaps you're right. Disarm the police, use nothing more to stop
potential terrorists than harsh rhetoric. Yeah, THAT will improve your
security.
