Well obviously given the source of your link it got the attention of the BBC. :-)

It probably did not get as much attention however as Roy Keane signing for Glasgow Celtic today, or some oil 
processing plant unleashing the clouds of Mordor over London at the weekend.

I'd suggest that the Nobel prize people have got more coverage in years gone by, when the likes of Yassar Arafat 
and Gerry Adams were nominated for the Peace Prize........and they probably lost the Nobel prize a certain 
amount of credibility at the same time.
