Supporting dicators, funding and organizing covert
interventions, the Cambodian bombing, the Chilean
junta, Bangladesh, East Timor...The list is ugly and
it goes on (it also includes Cyprus, but his
involvement there was minor compared to Indonesia for
example). 

Although some of the accusations have not been proved,
a man who is generally known to have in his resume
several (ordered and executed) war crimes is not an
ideal candidate for a Peace Prize winner. I think he's
standing out as an example of the wrong person being
awarded the wrong price.
