There may be a school of thought developing that wants to go after Hezbollah and Hamas sympathisers - in other words Iran and Syria. Israel is taking care of Lebanon anyway. Shades of the Iraq and WMD logic.

Still, I would be very surprised to see an attack on Iran taking place.

  Again, no, I suggested that your kind of simplistic viewpoint will work a
  lot better if it's easier to distinguish between those that want to kill
  us and those that don't. Because you still haven't explained to me how
  you intend to do that.

  No, I don't, I just don't want to kill or worse make life impossible for
  lots of innocent people just so that we can find them. We do that, we're
  no better.
