I think that's hasty. One shouldn't generalise from the fact that there are a
(sadly increasing in number) bunch of fundamentalist wackos in it, that the
religion as a whole is intolerant. Funny, I find myself trying to make this same
point to my atheist friends on behalf of chrsitianity. Many people see
christianity in precisely the same way, thanks to the, also largely intolerant,
wacko fundamentalist christians.
It is too easy to paint all people with just one broad stroke. There are more
tolerant than intolerant christians, and more tolerant than intolerant muslims.
History bears this out, for anyone who is willing to study it. And if one
requires proof, one need only talk to a few muslims.

goes that Islam is said to be a religion of tolerance, it isn't and I
suspect that this wayward church knows it. What they have done in the
knowledge of that will have serious repercussions of Christians in
Muslim countries where they have a hard time of things as it is.
Everytime the west upsets the Muslims the greater the persecution increases.
I am happy to say that this wayward church has no support for these
actions in my church or the Christian advocate societies. I hope that
church is held accountable for the deliberate act of provocation, or at
least make a public apology.
