And if I DID have a preferred plan to the opening moves with Austria, I 
sure as HELL would never put them HERE, where future opponents could see 
them and use those plans against me.

I've played Austria several dozen times over the past 25+ years.  I 
never use the same opening twice.  To be predictable is to LOSE in 
Diplomacy ...
