Variant Game Bank (was RE: [DipKnights] New Game and Alpha Variant)

I just recently visited that "variants game bank" link and it got me
thinking.

Cat23 has had so many wonderful Game Designers and variants played over the
years that have come and gone.

I think it would be a great idea to have our own "Variant Game Bank".
Either one on Rays server or at least a link to one.
I know there are links in the Cat23 Number Generator but sometimes that just
isn't enough as most GMs remove pages from their websites for newer 'things'
to adjust for space requirements.

This place (Cat23) is mostly variants of all sizes and shapes...not just the
more popular of the genre. If at least for posterity's sake we should have a
place that records these rules.

Thoughts?

  A Dipknight only game would be open to a Dipknight of any rank as far
  as I am concerned.

  The Alpha Variant is fairly simple.  The rules can be found at -

  The basic idea is that players can move their home SCs to a more
  advantageous position.  For example, were Turkey to gain control of
  Greece with his Alpha unit, the player would "deactivate" one of
  his/her initial home SCs, making it a regular SC, allowing Greece to
  become a home SC for Turkey, capable of building units when
  appropriate.
