We've been stuck on 6 players and a couple of observers for Amphibious for a couple of weeks, so I'm advertising either for a player or a GM.

If a GM (woh doesn't have draconian house rules) steps forward, I'll take the last spot myself. Thanks to those observers who said they'd step in if absolutely necessary - if no one comes forward this time, I'll come begging.

Below is the text from my previous postings for players (slightly altered, as I think we'll play with no coastal distinctions). See the DVWorkshop mailing list for the discussions that have gone on so far.

The rules are simple. Armies and Fleets are replaced by a single Amphibious Unit capable of making any move either an Army or a Fleet can make. There is no interim order to convert from Army to Fleet. This should allow for greater flexibility and fluidity, plus hopefully a novel approach to the familiar Standard map.

Cheers,
Stephen
