A few words on, and a link to
Cat23-Announce,
Cat23-Ngame,
Cat23-Achat,
Cat23-Gchat, and
Cat23-1200 (eventually to be replaced by Cat23-1300)
would be sufficient.
The game number generator worked by starting at the next number to be used,
and then someone activated it (taking the number), which bumped it along 1,
for the next game start. Sort of like one of those take-a-number thingees
you see at the deli counter in supermarkets.
