Thank you for that.  I was only trying to keep the games moving along.  Those 
were busy times.

As for turning them around - well - yeah you could say that I did that.  ;0)
I think I actually turned a few of them into solos.  As for the rest, lets just 
say I tried to at least make an impact.

There was one game, I forget what country I was playing but I was in Turkey
with Germany (I think it might have been Deepak) poised to solo in the game.
Unfortunately for him he had left Russia all but empty of his units and through 
the judicious use of convoys I got behind him and I think I may actually have
cost him the solo too.  That one was a lot of fun, he had to keep chasing those
(and then that) armies(army) all over the place.  

Ahhh, those were the days.  It is certainly nice to see the interest picking back 
up, I wish I could do more to help.

As for Packrat's penchant for replacement play - I give him many kudos -
many games would have never finished except for his willingness to take
almost any position.and I'm fairly sure he turned around more than one
position that looked hopeless.
