Would love to have set up the facebook application, but I've only joined it. If you search applications for diplomacy it'll be easy to find.

  Okay folks,
Here's what I'm seeing so far, just to pull it all
together and keep participants on both lists on the
same page (I hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes
  here):

  - Adam Kuehn has graciously volunteered to pay the
  fees for our site.
  - It seems "cat23.org" is the popular choice for our
  domain name.
  - "Cat23 Diplomacy" is a great suggestion for page
titles, in order to generate hits on web searches
  (thanks, Luis.)
  - Scott Fort has given us some valuable history,
filled in by David Cohen and Scott "Packrat" Troemel.
  - David Cohen has volunteered to give us an "official"
history write-up for the new site.
  - David Cohen has ad hoc volunteered Ray Setzer, Peter
Richardson, and a few other long-standing pillars of
our community to assist in the details of our history
  write-up. Thanks, David. ;)
  - Chris Babcock is working on an upgraded number
generator, which is wonderful. He has some questions
about who should be notified when a new game number is
generated, which I think we should all address.
  - Chris Babcock has also suggested a game queue
system, which I personally agree with wholeheartedly.
It should make filling games a bit quicker and show
potential GMs where the interest lies, as he pointed
out. My only concern is that we should give people the
option of removing themselves from the queue if they
decide they've been waiting too long, something else
  came up, etc.
  - Chris Babcock (that saint) has also volunteered to
serve the website, so that we have one
constantly-involved host who will ensure the website
doesn't stray from it's intended purpose. I think we
should have at least two assistants, who would have
full administrative access to everything, just in case
Chris is unavailable or decides he hates Diplomacy or
  web hosting (or both) someday.
  - Dave Watson has volunteered his HTML expertise for
development of the site. I'm sure he'd be happy to
  hear suggestions/comments/critiques at any time.
  - Stephen Worthy has set up a Facebook application for
Cat23. If anyone's interested in checking it out, I'm
sure he can give you the address.
  - I have set up a MySpace Cat23 group, located at
  http://groups.myspace.com/Cat23Diplomacy. It's nothing
special yet, but I'm hoping more people will join
soon, and we can get suggestions for topics and such.
  - I have also set up a yahoo address,
[email protected], just in case. If anybody
cares to use this address in connection to the
website, Facebook or MySpace, I'd be happy to share
privileges to the account or hand it off, whatever is
  required.

If I'm missing anything, or anybody can think of
something to add, I'm sure we'll all be happy to hear
it. As I said at the top, I hope I'm not stepping on
anyone's toes here, I just wanted to pull all of our
main points together in one email.
I have also been saving all the emails from both the
NGame and DipKnight threads in a folder on this Yahoo
account, so that we have a little history of the
build-up to our new home. I don't know if that
interests anybody, or if anyone else has done the
  same, but they're here nonetheless.
