Stacked Diplomacy - The stack collapses

Okay folks, here is the status.

I had 7.  The start was on hold pending two of the
seven actually being available.

One of the seven wrote to say that they were no longer
able to play in the game.  

I emailed one alternate I had in the background.  He
has proven to be less than, well, to be polite, less
than available.

Therefore I find I have no choice but to cancel the
playtest of this variant and let it fall by the
wayside.  It is funny how most of the serious variants
I wanted to try could not draw 7, but the monopoly
variant I hatched as a goof actually had almost enough
to run two games.  Go figure.
