Trout's statement as to my commitment is correct. Expect my post in the next couple of days about "Riverboat Diplomacy." It is essentially a map based variant with a few twists. My expectation is that those of you who love strategy will fall in love with this variant. "Gunboat Diplomacy" would be a more fitting title for it... But, alas, it's taken already As for the rest of Trout's email, I nominate him (or anybody else) to GM a game of IMPERIAL diplomacy. It's a map-based world variant with 13 players. Further, I challenge all of you to play. I'd do the GMing, bt I make myself GM only one game at a time. If Trout (Or, agani, anybody else) will accept the challenge, I will be his first volunteer.
