It is heartwarming to see Cat23 get a new spark of life lately (I'm a moderately aged vet, think my first was in the 400-500s, remember being a replacement Italy for a game Rob Coan GMed, and losing one as Austria to Herc De Leon (Germany) after a pretty good run...plus several variant games of Sengoku and SAS) Just wish the Cat had some control measure against NMRs, which I cannot stomach. Too many NMRs and abandoned games caused problems - guess that's why we have the ACD now. Still, the Cat has been useful in the past to fill a game quick whereas ACD can take a while...hope to see the group stay alive. Add me to the Old School observer list please :-) B. Benjamin T.
