1263 - Old Blood Showdown

All,
  You may have noticed there is a game number in the
"Subject" line. That is the number we will be using
for Old Blood Showdown. It is also the number I want
you to put in every email you send to me, as it is
*much* easier to sort through game emails when they're
numbered.
  You may also have noticed that there are nine of you
in the "To" line... That is because one is an
observer, and I have had an application from an
"older-timer" than one of the previous applicants. As
I stated in the call to arms, longevity in the
community is my main criteria for a slot in this game.
Mr. Bristol, as you are the "youngest" member to have
applied to me, I regret to inform you that you are
disqualified. Sorry mate, hopefully there are no hard
feelings. But if there are, maybe you can take your
frustration out on me on the board some time.
  I'd like to officially start this game off, meaning
that there is no need for further applications to the
game (this being the primary reason this was sent to
the NGame list.) Below, you will find the format I
intend to use to send adjudications, which includes a
list of the players. If you'd all send in your country
preferences, I can assign powers to leaders and set a
deadline for Spring 1901. (I already have one set.)
  Thanks to everyone who showed interest, and I hope
to hear from you all regarding your preferred powers
within a couple days.
