David Norman Writes: "1) For me, face-to-face play is plagued by the difficulty of finding seven players and the near-impossibility of paying a complete game (outright win or stalemated draw). It would be awfully nice to be able to generate a playable map given a known number of players and a specified number of supply centers (fewer centers -> shorter game)." There is a way of playing a complete game with fewer than 7 players and without having to generate a map. My madman diplomacy rule (C) 2001 allows for this in either the standard game or my Engineer variant. you can download the rules in EasyNoter form from: [http://ca.geocities.com/hapolley] The Engineer rules give more of an advantage to the attacking player than the standard rules. This increases further the liklyhood of a complete game. It would also help if you have the adjudication program I have finished and will be giving to those who have completed one of my games and want it. I have 4 openings for a Engineer partnership game if interested. ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca ------------------------ Yahoo!
