  I made this proposal earlier (and was defeated, I believe). I've been finding since some turns ago that the central alliance position is just untenable. So I am in the choice of simply supporting Shimazu or Uesugi, as I can't hope for a victory for myself or even for my allies. After careful consideration, I think that the position of Shimazu is a lot stronger, so I think that he should get the Shogunate.

    This is an oficial proclamation from Lord Oda Nobunaga of the Oda clan.

    The House of Oda surrenders to Shimazu Yoshihisa. There is no point in continuing with this war. Shimazu must be proclaimed new Shogun of the Japanese Empire. I will contact Lord Shimazu inmediately to discuss the terms of my surrender. Yet, I appeal to all other daymios to support the proclamation of Lord Shimazu as new Shogun and end this pointless blodshed.
