While a certain aspiring superpower is trying to redraw the borders of Europe, I have done something similar on the Modern map, but in my case no sanctions were issued. Rather I was encouraged to write an article about it, which was published in the F2013M number of the Pouch.

Instead of the Black Sea, I chose the Atlantic for my grand designs. Instead of reassigning an existing province to a different power, I added a new one and called it Ulster. Which one wil ultimately have the greatest effect is still a matter of speculation.
I'm now trying to get a few games going with the ultimate aim of making this the standard Modern map. Unfortunately the map creator will only be convinced if a game is played with Wings, which are not yet part of the DPjudge fauna. So you will excuse this excursion to a different judge, USTP, forget your prejudices and enthusiastically join one of the ulster games there, the first one with, the second one without press. You might be making history.

For those less inclined to such a deviation, there's a team game forming now on UKDP (which is a DPjudge) on the same map, and the game sochi (on a Zeus map) on the familiar USDP is also in need of a few more players.
