Yes, security updates to ASP hosting have broken a lot of the dynamic
functionality of the Variant Bank. I volunteered to help with that a few
years back, but I didn't realize at the time that it was being hosted on
Windows.
The ideal solution would be to port the Variant Bank to a lightweight
Content Management System or hardened wiki. That, however, would be time
intensive for whoever took it on. I've copied the site owner. I can provide
Linux hosting. If there's interest, perhaps something can be worked out.
