I've been kicking around this idea for a while, and I've finally
decided to let it loose. I personally have a tendency to submit very
long end-of-game statements, and once a game ends, I always wish I
could know what other people were thinking during the game. If you
are with me, here is the game for you:

-------------------------------------
The important rules: FTF_PRESS, WHITE_GREY.
No civil disorder. Standard map, no vision restrictions.
The description:
-------------------------------------
The end-of-game statement is one of the most interesting parts of
the game, in my opinion. However, by the time the game is over, no
one really remembers what was going on early, and most end-of-game
statements do not accurately reflect what people were really
thinking. In hindsight, everyone has a distorted view of how the
game progressed.
In this game, every single year will have a "Histories" phase
immediately following the Winter Adjustments. During this phase, the
game will remain calm, waiting for processing, until all players
have submitted (privately, to the GM) a miniature end-of-game
statement. It will include:
A gauge of your feelings toward each power as well as your
perception of others' feelings toward you, a quick overview of the
important events of the past year from your perspective, and a short
description of your plans for the next year (and optionally,
beyond).
Movement will be on 2-day deadlines, Histories 2 days, with Retreats
and Adjustments at 1-day deadlines. I will keep all the press from
the game, and organize it into a nice little document along with
everyone's "histories," which will be distributed to the players and
posted somehow for public viewing. The goal is to compile the game
into a kind of altered "history" of early 20th century Europe. So,
keep it clean, since everything you say can and will be indexed by
Google.
I am sick of powers going into civil disorder, so if someone misses
the 1-day grace for a deadline, including a "Histories" phase, they
are out. I try hard to fill replacement positions, so it should not
slow down the game too much, but obviously this game will require
some focus. If you have any questions, go ahead and send me a
message, I'd love to hear from you.
"History is replete with great events that result from a
concatenation of seemingly unrelated incidents whose relationship is
often only discernible in hindsight."
