If you ask me (and you didn't, but I'll tell you anyway), this is going to be part of the WM structure forevermore. I more or less think it is a GOOD thing that the discussion can and does float to the surface. Rules designers may be able to SLIGHTLY minimize the impact of certain "far out" tactics (I wish there were some way to AVOID strategic delays of gmae, for example), but they won't eliminate it. I guess I wonder if this point, just wonder, if there is some evidence that one of the Finals winners slots WILL not participate. But this just shows how second/third level all this has gotten!
