Well, it was nice while it lasted  :-(

Hi Guys,

I'm back in the land of the living, albeit that I look like some sort of
zombie that's had his head hacked off and put back on with staples. The
staples are hopefully coming out today (and hopefully my head won't fall
off), so my pals should then stop calling me Zippy. Some pals !.

Many thanks to David for standing in for me; even if he didn't actually move
anything. Playing possum, huh ?. I had sorta secretly hoped that he'd
produce some miracle that eluded me and would transform my position. But
that was always pretty unrealistic and I have to be grateful that I'm still
here; for the time being.

And, hey Brian. Back up to two units. Definitely still on for that late
'witches game'. eh ?.

O.K. The English Foreign Office, temporarily removed to Riyadh, is now back
open for business in the green and pleasant Chiltern Hills of South
Buckinghamshire. All suppositions, petitions, proposals, threats, demands
for capitulation, etc', will be gratefully received and considered.
