Well, I am a stabbing liar, but I try to make my stabs usefull.

Was pretty sure from the beginning that this was not going to be my day.
From SP01 is was pretty obvious that it was going to be a knife fight. When
I bounced Roger in Tyrolia, and asked him about it, he pretty much just said
'Just because'. Eric, your a good player, but you need a new lairs hat. I
could practically see you fidgiting and looking away every time you would
write me and say "I want to find a way to work together."

Nick and I almost worked together a couple of times. He explained off his
initial attack by telling me that Austria was holding a A-T alliance to his
head to pressure him to attack me. When Nick backed his units off, I thought
perhaps that had some merit, and he and I did some exploratory alliance
talks. Unfortunaly, I wanted to attack Austria and he wanted to attack
England, and we got stuck on the point over who would stab their ally first.
Still, I thought long and hard about stabbing when Nick built that fleet in
StpNC.

Kester made a try and giving me an opening in hopes that I might think it
was a three way race, but my terms to him were that he let Russia fall, but
he was only willing to let me play about in Italy. So it seemed to me that
he did open the door, but kept that little chain lock on it so I could not
really squeeze in.

Julio describes the end game accuratly.

Julio, you earned that solo, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I am a
stabby bastard, but you stuck with me when all was lost, and I was not going
to stab you unless it would be for a win.

Nick, maybe we SHOULD have started swearing at each other! :) Seriously,
half the time I was blowing smoke at you and half the time not, but I was
genuine about not attacking you if you would have helped me attack Austria.
I would not have needed to. With a couple Austrian dots, all the Italian
ones, and only one English army defending France, I felt that my path to
topping was in that area.

Kester, I just wanted your dots. :)

Roger, roger, roger. I miss you attacking me in Munich. Please come back
again someday.

Thanks to Craig for an excellent job GMing. He didn't miss a beat even when
real life intervened.
