------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo! Companion Toolbar. Now with Pop-Up Blocker. Get it for free! http://us.click.yahoo.com/L5YrjA/eSIIAA/yQLSAA/xTHqlB/TM --------------------------------------------------------------------~-> Hi all, We've noticed that a number of mails to this group over the last week (all those coming from cooleytmsteve, though that's no guarantee that this is the actual source - I've seen copies of Bagle claiming to have been sent by me) have included the Bagle virus as an attachment - nasty little beast, it is. If you receive mails here in digest form, you won't have a problem. If you stay up to date with your virus definition updates, you won't have a problem (there was a distinct period between Bagle existing and it arriving here). If neither of these is true, you need to check out your system. Symantec have information and a removal tool here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[email protected] l In the meantime, though it is kind of locking the stable door after the horse bolts, I've usurped control over this board and only I can post to it for now. If you want to talk about the Final Board (first turn this week), do it at [email protected] instead. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we decided it was more convenient than cleaning up viruses. :) Before signing up to that group, please make sure your system is Bagle-free. On the plus side, my taking control of the board does give me somewhere that I can put the map publicly, so people can stop asking me if I'm going to have a web site for it :-D. Cheers, P
