I am pleased to announce an upcoming event involving FlightGear:

May 24-25, 2005 - MathWorks International Aerospace and Defense 
Conference 2005. Manhattan Beach Marriott, Manhattan Beach, CA.

We are working together with members of the simulink development team to 
demo the Matlab/Simulink interface to FlightGear and a 747 simulator 
under developement by John Wojnaroski.

This event will demonstrate the use of FlightGear as a real-time 
visualization tool for Matlab/Simulink dynamics and controls 
development.  We will also demonstrate how the FlightGear/Simulink 
combination can be integrated into a full scale cockpit using the 
open-source FlightGear network protocols to produce a flexible, 
realistic, and powerful development framework.
