Upcoming events

I would like to draw everyone's attention to a couple upcoming 
FlightGear events and announcements.  You can find complete details on

1. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2005, July 25-31, Oshkosh, WI: FlightGear will 
have a small booth presence at the Flight Vault booth.  This is booth 
#2127 in Hanger B.  Wayne Harris is releasing an advanced flight 
tracking product that will interface to a standard copy of FlightGear 
for visualizing and replaying real flights in 3d.  Stop by and check it out!

2. AVSIM's 2005 Conference and Exhibition, Sept 16-18, San Diego CA.

LFS Technologies will be featuring FlightGear.org's open-source flight 
simulation software. LFS Technologies emphasizes robust software 
development and graphics along with realistic cockpit hardware to build 
full scale flight simulators.  John Wojnaroski will be demoing his 
advanced 747 cockpit sim mentioned here:

3. As was posted on the developers mailing list, The MathWorks has 
announced it's Aerospace Blockset 2 which includes a built in interface 
to FlightGear.  This provides Simulink developers with an advanced real 
time visualization tool, allowing them to do much of their development 
work and testing at their desktop or with inexpensive engineering 
simulators versus spending a lot of wasted time on the big buck
