One more thing from me regarding the discussions today: End users are both the "end user" I defined in the first message - a typical player who downloaded a Flight Simulator, not an arcade game, and dedicated his time to learn the basics, etc, as well as us. Some of you see the end user perspective as your own perspective only. Which is fundamentally wrong from the development point of view. We, despite being "experts" and "developers" can not forget - in fact we should care even more for the "typical player". They are the majority of people who benefit from the aircraft/simulator/addons we develop. Having said this I agree with David Hudach on the points he made, perhaps we need to take into bigger consideration the "typical player" opinion. Because we know our opinion as developers, we share it here. What we don't know is the opinion of the rest of the users. And some of you will say that you don't care, alright, in my first message I said about suicide of brand image. By this I don't say FG is a commercial product, but why do some of you desperately want it to be an arcade game thing? FlightGear has improved dramatically since I started flying in it, and trust me, counter-realism aircraft simulations as I stated in the first post are damaging the overall level of FlightGear. One way or another, I want to thank you for all your opinions, appreciate all of them. We are here today. The "typical players" are the future.
