Glad to hear. I'd love if you could message me privately on what you found frustrating, so I could evaluate if it's something I need to correct or just an MD-11-ism that needs documentation.

I also plan to build some home cockpit stuff, but as an electrical engineering student, time is my enemy. :)

I do have some comments on the rest mentioned here I'll reply to later, I do generally agree with Patrizio's sentiment.

Just want to say thank you for the MD-11.
I have found it both fascinating and frustrating over tge years.
Right now my FG kit is all dismantled as I rearrange the spare room to build a cockpit.
Ihope to make the pedestal modular so I can swap out a twin or triple throttle quadrant but that is only a folderof 3d printr files and some aspiration for now.   Also trying to find a way to move my yoke out of tje way and use a sidestick so I can be an Airbus person too.

Today I am working on a discarded 55" HiSense tthat might be my main outsde view screen if the power supply willl stop tripping 😄

it was a reply directly to Patrizio's post... does your mail reader not do
threading so replies are grouped beneath the post they are a reply to?
