Hi all, I'm pleased to announce that FlightGear has adopted a Community Code of Conduct. You can find it at https://flightgear.org/code-of-conduct The document is largely based on the KDE Code of Conduct, which we felt was a very good fit for our community and the way we have worked together over 30 years. Most of the principles it describes are not new; rather, it formalizes standards and expectations that have long been part of our project. By documenting them explicitly, we make it easier for both existing and new community members to understand what we expect from one another and to share a common understanding of how we collaborate. As always, the Code of Conduct is open for constructive discussion and feedback from the community, either as a public reply to this mail or in private to me, if you prefer. Various members already reviewed this initial version (thanks!), which serves as a starting point that we can build upon. There is still some follow-up work to do, particularly around defining a clear process for handling issues when they arise and integrating the Code of Conduct with our existing forum, wiki, and mailing list guidelines/rules. Expect more of this in the coming weeks/months. Cheers, Gijs _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
